Jasmine Kahlia is an Acclaimed Audiovisual Artist and Outstanding Creative Practitioner, with work showcased regionally in the UK, and internationally in Spain, Germany and USA.
Jasmine Kahlia is a Specialist in Live Looping and Beatboxing, and also a specialist in Zines, having written literature pieces in English, Catalan and Spanish.
Jasmine Kahlia spends time living between London and Barcelona, where her family’s based.
Jasmine Kahlia has contributed significantly to the UK Arts Sector since 2016 in many capacities and has been platformed by some of the largest Arts Institutions across Europe.
Jasmine Kahlia's work's been archived in: Wellcome Collection, INIVA, London Metropolitan Archives and Sage and BALTIC Gateshead.
Jasmine Kahlia's been resident at Britten Pears Arts, Gloucester University, New Diorama Theatre, Theatre Deli, and Lighthouse Arts Centre.
Has a radio show with Resonance FM, and appeared on Threads and Reprezent Radio.
Performed at Centrala [Birmingham], Rich Mix, Southbank Royal Festival Hall, and Alexandra Palace, amongst many other large venues in London.
Been supported by Arts Council England, Westminster City Council, Haringey Council, British Council, UAL, National Youth Theatre, and Arts Admin, and more.
Been commissioned by Raze Collective, Tiata Fahodzi and Sound UK, amongst others.
Jasmine Kahlia's work has been researched and catalogued by practitioners at Manchester Metropolitan University, Oxford University and Loughborough University.
Jasmine Kahlia’s proved her excellence and business acumen within the Arts and is on the 2024 WISE100 30 Ones to Watch List by Natwest and Pioneers Post.
In 2024, Jasmine provided paid job opportunities worth £9,500 for over 20 freelance and emerging artists, as well as curating events and the radio show for performers, platforming over 100 emerging musicians since 2023.
Jasmine's also been supported by Foundervine through the Diverse Founders Program and EY Drivers Programme.
Jasmine works across around 19 different artforms to bring her work to life.
