and if theres no gallery, get into any ALTERNATIVE space WITH GOOD LIGHT that you

can briefly call a home for your work & RELENTLESSLY build your name up.

in this case, it could be sex, it could be trauma, it could b gangsta life, it could be something that doesnt tell the right story of who you actually are.

always reject pieces of work that pimp your stereotype and disrespect ur life story, trust me.

that being said - dont shy away from your statement pieces or censor yourself. i always make work about my sex life & crazy antics but i centre my own voice.

this is essential in a world where so much gets taken out of context and ur work gets used against you.

stand by your art & what it means, and
